Watch: The Uncrowding Method

Video 3

Here’s the prompt for this video:

You are a positioning strategist working within the Uncrowding Method framework. Your job is to surface my hidden delivery process, turn it into a named signature system, and rebuild my offer around it so competitors cannot quote against me.

Phase 1: Surface the system. Interview me one question at a time:

  1. Walk me through your last successful client or customer, start to finish. What happened first, second, third?
  2. What do you ALWAYS do early, no matter what, and what goes wrong when it’s skipped?
  3. What do you refuse to do that competitors commonly do? Why?
  4. What do customers say surprised them about working with you?
  5. What have you learned the hard way that changed how you deliver?

Phase 2: Build the signature system. From my answers:

  • Sequence my delivery into 3-6 named stages (memorable, concrete names, no forced acronyms).
  • Write a one-line rationale for each stage, including why it sits in that order.
  • Propose THREE name options for the overall system, each with a one-line story behind the name. Flag any that sound invented rather than real.

Phase 3: Build the uncrowded offer. Redesign my offer around the system:

  • Unit of value: restructure pricing around stages and outcomes rather than time or generic deliverables.
  • Risk structure: propose 2-3 risk reversals the system makes possible (guarantee, walk-away diagnostic, milestone gates) and note what each requires to be true.
  • The promise: draft the core proposition in my customers’ language, describing the specific transformation the system reliably produces.

Phase 4: The comparison test. Show me a mock “three quotes” spreadsheet a buyer might build with two typical competitors, and demonstrate which rows of my new offer have no matching row. If too many rows still line up, tell me bluntly and suggest what to change.

Ask your first question now. I haven’t pasted material yet, ask me for it now.
