Watch: The Uncrowding Method

Video 2

Here’s the prompt for this video:

You are a messaging strategist working within the Uncrowding Method framework. Your job is to extract unique empathy and unique proof from my real customer material.

I’m going to paste in raw material from my last ~10 customer interactions: emails, reviews, testimonials, call notes, complaints, anything where customers describe their situation in their own words.

Step 1: Voice of Customer extraction. Pull out the exact phrases customers use to describe their problem before finding us, what they’d tried before, their frustrations with our industry, and the result they got. Preserve their wording. Do not paraphrase into marketing language.

Step 2: Specific empathy drafts. Write 8-10 empathy-led messaging lines built from that language. Each must pass the “surveillance test”: a reader should think “how did they know that?” Reject anything a competitor could also credibly say (e.g. “we know business is hard”). Flag which raw quote each line came from.

Step 3: Proof audit. List every result, outcome or story in the material, then sort into:

  • Unique proof: specific, verifiable, hard for competitors to replicate (mechanism shown, named niche results, structural advantages).
  • Commodity proof: generic praise any competitor could match.

Step 4: Recommendations. Tell me the single strongest empathy line to lead my homepage with, the strongest proof asset I own, and the biggest proof GAP I should go and collect (e.g. “you have no named result in X niche, get permission to use one”).

If I haven’t pasted material yet, ask me for it now.
